Jack Jaffe

Psy. D

After college, Jack took two years off to engage in a serious reflection about his future: should he follow the expected route toward a legal career or pursue his passion for becoming a psychotherapist? Ultimately, Jack chose the path of helping others through therapy-and he’s glad that he did.

Jack firmly believes in the importance of finding your unique way forward in life—one that aligns with your values and aspirations—so that the life you live feels fulfilling and helps make life’s challenges more manageable. He believes that self-exploration, personal insight, and a genuine acceptance of the world around us create a strong foundation for navigating life’s journey and, ultimately, achieving satisfaction.

In his own life, Jack has turned to therapy during important transitions, finding it both personally enriching and professionally instructive. These experiences have reinforced his belief in therapy’s ability to foster growth and clarity.

When working with clients, Jack strives to create a space where they feel safe, comfortable, and open to exploration. He wants to bring an accepting, attentive, and supportive presence to every session, so that clients feel understood and validated. In his experience, this sense of connection and rapport is the essential first step in overcoming challenges and moving forward.

Outside of work, Jack values family and friends, appreciates time by himself, enjoys hiking in the beautiful surrounding mountains, and, of course, loves reading about psychology.
