Our Services

Individual Therapy

A joint process between a therapist and an individual client, seeking to establish the level of care, needs, and concerns. Individual therapy allows the therapist and client to focus on building rapport and working together to solve the client’s issues

Substance Abuse Therapy

Working with individuals to provide counseling to help clients understand the factors contributing to addiction. Substance abuse therapy helps clients develop new coping skills and ways of thinking and identifying defense mechanisms that contribute to the disease of addiction. This can include assessment and referrals to higher levels of care, support groups, and 12-step programs. Two Rivers Wellness Center offers laboratory urine drug testing that can quickly and effectively detect the misuse of illicit drugs and prescription medications.

Play Therapy

Play-based therapy is used to address behavioral issues caused by bullying, grief and loss, divorce and abandonment, physical and sexual abuse, and crisis and trauma. This form of therapy is also beneficial to children displaying symptoms related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, academic and social impairment, physical and learning disabilities, and conduct disorders. Play is our first language. Just as adults use words to communicate, children use play.

Auricular Acupuncture

A treatment system based on normalizing the body’s dysfunction through stimulation of 5 defined points on the ear. Stimulation of the points in the ear can alleviate symptoms affecting the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. The treatment includes gentle placement of up to five small, sterilized disposable needles into specific sites on each ear. The client sits quietly for 20-45 minutes, allowing the treatment to take effect.

Eating Disorder Treatment

A collaborative and comprehensive approach to therapy, working to empower the client to reclaim their physical and mental health by healing their relationship with food, movement, and body image. Through treatment, the therapist and client strive to understand, challenge, and overcome disordered patterns by focusing on a return to core values, implementing strategies for coping in difficult moments, finding pleasure in food, joyful movement, and self-compassion. Treatment can include navigating diet culture messages and actively working to find and maintain recovery.
